Overview

Master of Physical Education is a postgraduate Physical education course. Physical education is a course taken during primary and secondary education that encourages psychomotor learning in a play or movement exploration setting.

Students are introduced to various activities like bowling, walking, hiking, or Frisbee at an early age can help students develop good activity habits that will carry over into adulthood.

The curriculum of the course mainly comprised the areas such as research methodology, exercise physiology, sports psychology, computer application in physical education and sports and sports medicine etc.

Programme Objectives

The primary objective of the Master in Physical Education program is to prepare students for leadership roles in the field of physical education and sports.

The program aims to enhance students' understanding of sports psychology, biomechanics, exercise physiology, and sports management, enabling them to promote physical fitness and sports excellence.

Students

The eligibility criterion for all programs for international applicants is minimum 50% in the qualifying examination and having studied the pre-requisite subjects for admission in to the desired program.

Reservation for SC/ST/OBC as per State Government Norms.

Admission Process

The Admission Cell of the University is responsible for facilitating admissions to the desired courses. Admission is through Entrance test/ Interview/ Counselling.

Step 1

Download the admission application form from the University's official website and submit the same with a demand draft of prescribed fee drawn in favor of IES University payable at Bhopal.

Step 2

Fill in and submit application form online along with prescribed fee.

Step 3

Buy in person on payment of prescribed fee from the admission cell of IES University Bhopal.

Step 4

Candidates who fulfills the eligibility criteria for seeking admission to a Department/Institute shall, submit the duly filled in admission application form on or before the last date prescribed for the same.

Step 5

After scrutiny, if the candidate is found to meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by the University, he/she shall be called to appear for the counseling.
