Admission & Selection Process
We follow a rigorous, merit-based selection process to identify candidates with genuine research aptitude.
Eligibility Criteria
- Academic Record: Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent grade).
- Inclusivity: A 5% relaxation is provided for reserved categories as per UGC norms.
- Exemptions: Candidates who have qualified for UGC-NET/JRF, GATE, or SLET may be exempted from the written entrance exam.
The Path to Enrollment
- Entrance Examination: A comprehensive test assessing research aptitude, subject depth, and analytical ability.
- DRC Interview: A Viva-Voce before the Departmental Research Committee to evaluate research potential and alignment.
NEP-2020 Aligned Coursework
