Dr. Priti Desai

Dr. Priti Desai is a distinguished academician and healthcare education expert with over 25 years of experience in undergraduate and postgraduate Ayurvedic education. She currently serves as the Principal of the Department of Ayurveda and Community Health at IES University, Bhopal.

• Master’s in Health Professions Education (MHPE) and Ph.D. in Ayurved Education — Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences (Deemed to be University), Wardha

With a strong academic and administrative career spanning more than two decades, Dr. Desai has held key leadership roles for over 12 years and actively mentors postgraduate and doctoral scholars. She is a recognized PG Guide and Ph.D. Supervisor in both Ayurveda and Health Professions Education.

Her research contributions include 60+ publications in peer-reviewed, indexed journals, 1 patent, and 15 copyrights granted by the Government of India. She has received multiple awards for academic excellence and has served as a Health Sciences Education Expert in developing national curricula under the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM).

As a frequent resource person and speaker, Dr. Desai contributes to Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs, Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), conferences, and national workshops, championing innovation, quality, and integration in health sciences education.
